January 22nd – Shirley Kirkcaldy
Contemporary landscapes
Shirley will demonstrate a range of mixed media techniques and materials using a variety of tools and mediums.

These techniques can be applied to ongoing personal projects even if not in mixed media.

February 5th –  Michael Hill
Interiors with a focal point
We will be painting an interior with a focal point which could be an open window or possibly an interior with a vase of flowers or other still life object as the focal point.
Acrylics or watercolours may be used.

March 5th –  Mark Warner
Atmosphere Seascapes in Acrylics
Mark is an experienced tutor who normally works in Wales. At This workshop he will show how he incorporates the acrylic colour palette into his landscapes.

May 21st – Jenny Johnson
Pen and Ink Wash
A well known local artist who produces amazing drawings and paintings. Jenny’s advice on drawing techniques and the use of pen and ink will be beneficial to all attending.

June 18th   –   Scott Russell

Portraiture in oils with model

Scott works on the process of seeing and sensing the subject, trying to eliminate conscious, intellectual thought, using a limited palette and a fast and furious approach.
Acrylics or pastels can also be used.

September 24th  – Anna Ventura
Drawing Workshop

Anna will be concentrating on sketching techniques, perspective, and volume, using different mediums such as charcoal, ink, brush etc.
