Saturday Workshops


Yealmpton Community Centre, 10am to 4pm

£25 (£30 non members) unless stated otherwise.

To reserve a place, payment is required
7 days prior to the workshop. Cancellations can

* Drinks are provided but please bring a packed
lunch and your own mug.

 


* Please supply your own materials and equipment unless advised otherwise.

* Allow 20 minutes to collect your table and set up.

January 21st – Shirley Kirkcaldy
Contemporary landscapes

Shirley will demonstrate a range of mixed media techniques and materials using a variety of tools
and mediums – including acrylics, oil pastels,
inks etc.
These techniques can be applied to ongoing
personal projects even if not in mixed media. February 4th –  Michael Hill
Figure Painting in an interior

February 4th –  Michael Hill

Figure in an Interior
Michael will demonstrate painting a whole figure
in an impressionistic style. He will use
acrylics, however other mediums may be used. 

March 4th –  Sally O’Neil
Playing with Pointillism
Colour, light and forms of landscape are her inspiration. Using pointillism to create
movement in a picture – sparkling leaves, shimmering grass or forest floor.


May 13th – Julie Dunster
En Plein Air landscape in  Oil
Weather permitting we shall meet Julie out
in the landscape, possibly on Dartmoor.

September 23rd  – Clare Law
Working with a Pallet Knife – Oils
Based in the Tamar Valley,Clare takes
inspiration from the natural world.  She will
demonstrate her sculptural technique of using
only a small painting knife.  

October 14th  –  Rick Holmes
Landscape in Pastels

He’s had numerous artworks selected and
received many awards for his artwork.

November 18th  – Michael Hill
Contemporary Still Life
Michael’s workshops are so popular that he needs no introduction. This time he will demonstrate a still life in collage and mixed media.
